    Accident Investigation Training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to investigate workplace incidents and injuries effectively, with the goal of preventing recurrence.

    The course focuses on understanding legal requirements, conducting thorough and objective investigations, identifying root causes, and developing actionable recommendations that strengthen workplace safety and compliance with regulatory expectations, including those of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD).

    • The Accident Pyramid and its role in prevention
    • Reactive versus preventive investigation approaches
    • Managing and securing the incident scene
    • Interviewing injured workers and witnesses
    • Evaluating the impact and effectiveness of investigations
    • Distinguishing fact from assumption
    • Identifying root causes and contributing factors
    • Preparing investigation reports and compiling data
    • Developing practical recommendations for prevention
    • Follow-up actions and corrective measures
