    Absence Management Consultants

    Location: GTA & Southwestern Ontario
    Contract-based, part-time (some travel may be required)

    Workplace Medical Corp. is hiring subject matter experts in absence management to support our clients with audits, strategy, and implementation of sustainable programs.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Conduct audits of absence management programs and policies
    • Write professional audit reports and deliver client presentations
    • Advise employers on best practices in claims management, wellness, early intervention, and policy implementation
    • Provide ongoing support to optimize program performance

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Post-secondary education in Disability Management, HR, or Labour Relations
    • CBDMA certification or equivalent strongly preferred
    • 5+ years of advisory or disability program experience
    • Proven track record improving absence programs for employers
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

    Preferred Credentials (not required):

    • Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor
    • Certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor

    Occupational Health Nurse RN or RPN – Cobourg

    Location: Cobourg, Ontario
    Employer: Workplace Medical Corp.
    Schedule: Part-time, 3 days per week (24 hours)
    Compensation: $25-$40/hr.

    About the Role

    Workplace Medical Corp. is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse (RN) or (RPN) to support employee health and safety at an industrial site in Cobourg. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with strong clinical assessment skills, a passion for workplace health, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide onsite occupational health nursing services including assessments, first aid, and medical surveillance.
    • Support workplace injury management, early intervention, and return-to-work coordination.
    • Conduct audiometric testing, respiratory fit testing, and other occupational health procedures (training provided if required).
    • Participate in health promotion initiatives and wellness programming.
    • Maintain confidential, accurate, and timely health records.
    • Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety, HR, supervisors, and Workplace Medical Corp. clinical leadership.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
    • Experience in occupational health, emergency/acute care, or industrial settings is an asset.
    • Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently onsite.
    • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN(C)) is an asset but not required.
    • Ability to work 24 hours/week onsite.

    Mobile Screening Technician – Surrey British Columbia

    Join Our Team as a Mobile Screening Technician!

    Are you reliable, confident working independently, and passionate about supporting safe and healthy workplaces? Workplace Medical Corp. (WMC) is looking for dedicated Mobile Screening Technicians across British Columbia to provide exceptional onsite occupational health testing for our clients.

    This is a flexible subcontractor, on‑call role ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy autonomy, and take pride in delivering professional, high‑quality service.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Mobile Screening Technician, you’ll be the face of WMC while providing timely and accurate occupational health screenings at various client locations. You will:

    • Respond to after-hours and short‑notice requests to deliver drug & alcohol testing and other occupational health screenings.
    • Conduct testing following established protocols, including chain-of-custody requirements where applicable.
    • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot screening equipment.
    • Track, manage, and restock supplies; submit monthly inventory totals.
    • Coordinate follow‑up testing or specialized appointments when needed.
    • Complete accurate documentation, including electronic file updates and reporting.
    • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with privacy legislation.
    • Represent Workplace Medical Corp. with integrity while working independently onsite.

    What We’re Looking For

    We’re seeking individuals who are dependable, professional, and comfortable making decisions in fast‑paced situations. The ideal candidate has:

    • Experience in occupational health, medical testing, emergency response, or related fields (asset, not required).
    • A valid BC driver’s licence and a reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
    • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
    • Confidence working independently and responding calmly in urgent situations.
    • Comfort with 24/7 on‑call availability.
    • Ability to lift and transport testing equipment as required.
