Mask Fit Testing
Mask fit testing ensures tight-fitting respirators provide the level of protection they are designed to deliver. Proper fit is required wherever respiratory hazards are present and is a core component of a compliant respiratory protection program.
Fit testing confirms that the selected respirator model and size achieve an effective seal for the individual wearer, supporting exposure control and regulatory compliance.

Fit Testing Methods
Mask fit testing is delivered using methods aligned with regulatory standards and best practices, including:
- Qualitative fit testing using accepted challenge agents
- Quantitative fit testing, where required, to objectively measure respirator seal and fit
Testing is performed for tight-fitting respirators, including N95s and other negative-pressure respirators, based on workplace hazards and program requirements.
All testing is conducted by trained personnel following standardized protocols.
Compliance and Program Integration
WMC supports fit testing as a standalone service or as part of a broader occupational health or respiratory protection program, ensuring fit testing is integrated into onboarding, re-testing, and ongoing compliance workflows.
