WMC provides three key services to support the safe and efficient return to work of medically absent employees:

  1. Disability Claims Management
  2. Company Doctor
  3. Nurse Case Managers

These services allow us to provide you with the resources to manage the absence process, medical resources that understand the work environment and work options, as they conduct medical Time Loss Reviews. These TLRs are performed in collaboration with the employee’s attending physician and promote a balanced framework to build an effective Back to Work plan.

The Nurse Case Manager can then monitor the employee’s progress through the implementation of the BTW plan. When any issues arise that will affect the employee’s progress, the nurse can call on other resources to provide suitable adjustments to the plan, including:

  • Treatment
  • Ongoing Communication
  • Monitor Recovery Progress
  • Return to Work
