Pre-Placement examinations determine worker fitness and set the baseline to evaluate future injuries; it is an important component of a complete occupational program. Also, they can establish claims for SIEF (the Second Injury and Enhancement Fund) and help assign employees to workstations that best suit their physical capabilities.
To match the right employee to the right position, clients are asked to provide us a complete Physical Demand Analysis (PDA) for the position in question. For those who do not have existing PDAs, Workplace Medical Corp. can also arrange for a third party to generate one (see Ancillary
Services). Exams can include complete physicals, vision and audio screening, back stress tests, X-rays, and urine drug screening. |
