Hearing Conservation Programs
Noise Induced Hearing Loss Can Be Prevented
Hearing conservation is a critical part of your occupational health program, and Workplace Medical Corp. can provide all of the services you need in a convenient way.
You will find the unparalleled service and quality you need in the experience of our management and the qualifications of each of our technicians. You will deal with only Certified Audiometric Technicians who attend annual driver training courses and monthly quality and service review meetings.
Mobile Audiometric Screening
Each of our 6 state-of-the-art mobile hearing trucks includes 6 individual audio booths to combine high-quality individual hearing tests with the efficiency of performing 6 tests simultaneously. Last year we performed over 65,000 mobile hearing tests for 700 clients throughout Ontario.

Each member of your team will receive a personalized letter with recommendations for preserving their hearing on the job. Our in-house medical staff will review each test individually to provide these reports, as well as a comprehensive summary report for management. This overview allows managers to spot problem departments, track trends, and achieve targets for success.
Noise/Dosimeter Surveys
Our noise/dosimeter surveys establish noise hazard workstations and zones in your work environment. Once these areas are identified, we will recommend specific hearing protection protocols and offer suggestions for engineered noise reduction solutions. These noise surveys should be done every 2 years, or whenever there is a change in machinery or building structure.
Education & Training on Hearing Conservation
Educating your employees and managers is the key element in establishing an effective hearing conservation program. In just an hour or less, we can provide your team with a training seminar to answer all essential questions about hearing, hearing loss, hearing protectors, noise, and more.
Hearing Protectors
The final element of your hearing conservation program is the protection of your employees’ hearing. Following our assessment of your work environment, we can advise you on the right policies and the right type of hearing protection devices for your workforce.
