Workplace Medical Corp. has a well-established reputation for expertise in designing and implementing medical surveillance programs. If your employees are exposed to designate substances as defined by the Ministry of Labour, a medical surveillance program is required by the same Ministry to ensure their health and safety.
The medical protocols are designed specifically for the type of exposure such as PCBs, blood lead, silica and isocyanates. The protocols can include physical exams, laboratory testing, data analysis, x-ray, lung capacity and other medical tests. Our custom software tracks and alerts for recall appointments as defined by the protocols.
We have implemented programs for hundreds of companies. Recently we have been awarded a multi-year contract by the Qikiqtaaluk Corporation in Iqualuit, Nunavut Territory to develop and implement the medical surveillance program, including entry and exit medical exams and analysis, for the remediation project.
