Administrative Assistant

Workplace Medical Corp is seeking a permanent full-time Administrative Assistant with at least 3-years of related experience for its Mobile Hearing Testing division in Toronto.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and General Manager, the Administrative Assistant will have the following primary responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities
  • Print/collate/ship confirmation packages, medical reports & correspondences.
  • Answer & direct incoming calls
  • Assist in scheduling, quote preparation and invoicing activities
  • Maintain accurate medical files and CRM client database
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager.
Employment Features:
  • Permanent full-time position
  • $16/hr + bonus

Requirements:
  • Must have at least 3 years of related work experience.
  • Strong customer relations & telephone skills
  • Strong basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM software would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak French would also be an asset

Driver / Customer Service Representative

Workplace Medical Corp’s Mobile Hearing Testing division is seeking a Driver/Customer Service Representative in the greater Montreal area. The selected candidate will be trained to operate our mobile unit and conduct on-site hearing tests for companies whose employees are exposed to hazardous noise levels on the job.  Related work experience is preferred but not mandatory. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Driving the mobile unit to the customer’s location and conducting their hearing tests.
  • Administrative activities (quotes, scheduling, data maintenance, reports, etc.).
  • Maintaining the mobile unit & equipment in good working order.
Job Requirements:
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • At least 5 years of work experience.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willing to travel.
Preference will be given to those with the following qualifications but we will train the right person:
  • Audiometric Technician certification.
  • Previous experience driving a small truck.
  • Previous experience in audiology or similar medical/technical field.
  • Previous administration or management experience.
  • Previous customer relations experience.

Experienced First Aid Instructors

Do you have experience as a professional responder and a passion for teaching? If so we invite you to join the instructor team at Workplace Medical Corp. (WMC) as a first aid instructor. WMC is actively seeking professionals with first aid training experience and a strong understanding of prehospital care to deliver our WSIB accredited first aid program to clients throughout Ontario. Onsite Medical Technicians

WMC is currently looking for certified medical lab assistants/technicians to support our growing onsite Occupational Health team. WMC supports clients across Canada in maintaining a healthy workplace through prevention and response of workplace absences, including medical surveillance, testing and assessments. The core responsibilities of this role include:
  • Drawing blood
  • Pulmonary Function screening (including calibration)
  • Orthorator vision screen
  • Audiograms
  • EKG
  • Mask Fit Testing
  • Vitals check (blood pressure, pulse)
  • Urinalysis

WMC is currently looking for RN’s to support our growing onsite and in-clinic Occupational Health team. WMC has clinic locations in Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara, London, Sarnia, Ajax and Ottawa, and provides onsite medical services throughout Ontario and across Canada. WMC is committed to supporting employers in maintaining a healthy workplace through prevention and response of workplace absences, including medical surveillance, testing and assessments. The core responsibilities of this role include:
  • Pre or periodic nurse medical assessments
  • Review of medical reports
  • Administer vaccinations (including flu clinics)
  • Biometric testing
